This delicious roasted garlic white pizza sauce comes together in under 10 minutes because it's made with roasted granulated garlic. No need to put in the time and trouble of roasting a head of garlic in the oven!
Heavy cream instead of a roux:
Many white pizza sauce recipes call for milk and a roux but I like to use just heavy cream for maximum flavor and creaminess. Using only cream is also less hassle than making a roux; you simply reduce the cream until it has a thick and rich consistency.
Photos of the recipe process:
- Add all ingredients except for the Parmesan to a pan. (It will seem like a lot of seasoning for the amount of cream but it will be just right. This sauce is very intense, so that even just the thin layer you put on pizza adds tremendous flavor.)
- Turn on the heat and simmer, stirring with a silicone spatula, until the sauce is thick enough for the spatula to leave a trail.
- Stir in the Parmesan, then take off the heat. (The cheese doesn't need to fully melt at this point because it will melt during the baking of the pizza.)

Equipment:
Ingredients:
Method:
- Add cream, chicken bouillon granules, granulated garlic, oregano and marjoram to a pan.
- Turn on the heat and simmer the sauce, stirring continuously with a silicone spatula, until thick enough for the spatula to leave a trail. (About 1 minute after you start to see wisps of steam.)
- Stir in the Parmesan.
Recipe notes:
Storage: If you're not using the sauce immediately, you can keep it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Warm it up slightly in the microwave before using, just so that it's easier to spread.
