Hi there and welcome! My name is Nicole and I am the cook and photographer behind The Spice Train.
I have been adventurous and creative in the kitchen ever since I can remember. But it wasn't until a decade or so ago that I started to learn about and experiment with spices. The more I learned, the more ideas I had. So I started The Spice Train to catalogue the dishes I came up with. Since then my recipes have been featured on Better Homes & Gardens, Real Simple, House Beautiful, Buzzfeed, Huffington Post, Town & Country and Redbook.
How often can you expect new recipes here?
I used to share most of the recipes I developed but in recent years I've become much more selective about what I post on this site. That's why you won't find new content very frequently here. I now only post a new recipe if I think it is absolutely top notch. That means you can be sure that anything that is published here is something I truly believe in!
