Peppers to Cups Conversion (Bell Peppers and Jalapeno Peppers)

Many recipes call for a specific number of diced bell peppers or jalapenos but peppers can vary tremendously in size. A very large bell pepper can weigh twice as much as a small one, for example. This guide tells you what size of what pepper will yield how many cups of diced pepper.

One large bell pepper (about 12 ounces) will yield about 2 cups of diced pepper. (With each chunk of diced bell pepper measuring about ½ inch per side.)
