How many tomatoes are in a cup? (fresh and canned)

Updated: Apr 26, 2025 · Published: Apr 5, 2023 by Nicole B. · Leave a Comment

This guide lists how many fresh whole tomatoes will yield how many cups fresh diced tomatoes. Included are the types of tomatoes you most commonly find in grocery stores (cherry tomatoes, Roma tomatoes, Campari tomatoes and grape tomatoes). I've also included cup-to-weight conversions for whole, crushed, diced and petite diced canned tomatoes.
