This creamy and garlicky white dipping sauce takes calzones to the next level. It's particularly good with cream sauce calzones but also works great with marinara sauce calzones. You need buttermilk powder, onion powder, dried marjoram, garlic, hot sauce, mayonnaise, sour cream, soy sauce, unseasoned rice vinegar and Worcestershire sauce.

Sauce ingredients and notes:

  • Buttermilk powder is a fantastic ingredient for a dipping sauce. It adds delicious buttermilk flavor without watering down the sauce and adding the volume that would make the sauce runny.
  • The hot sauce in this recipe is there to add flavor and a bit of acidity to balance the creaminess. It doesn't actually make the sauce spicy.
