Recipe ingredients and notes:
- Because this sauce is made without mayonnaise it needed something to add richness and that's why I added Parmesan. Without the cheese, the flavor of the sauce was a bit thin. The Parmesan gave it the heartiness and body it needed.
- I recommend Louisiana hot sauce for this recipe. It has great flavor and a nice tanginess that works great with chicken wings. It also gives this dipping sauce a mild spiciness.

Sour Cream Dipping Sauce for Chicken Wings
This easy sour cream dipping sauce is delicious with traditional and breaded chicken wings.

Method:
- Add all ingredients except for the milk to a bowl.

- Whisk until combined.

- Whisk in milk until you get the desired consistency. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to let the flavors develop. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.

Recipe notes:
*You can use freshly grated Parmesan cheese or the pre-grated, shelf-stable product. Either one works great.
Storage: Store this sauce in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
