This creamy and garlicky white dipping sauce takes calzones to the next level. It's particularly good with white calzones but also works great with red calzones. You need buttermilk powder, onion powder, dried marjoram, garlic, hot sauce, mayonnaise, sour cream, soy sauce, unseasoned rice vinegar and Worcestershire sauce.
Sauce ingredients and notes:
- Buttermilk powder is a fantastic ingredient for a dipping sauce. It adds delicious buttermilk flavor without watering down the sauce and adding the volume that would make the sauce runny.
- The hot sauce in this recipe is there to add flavor and a bit of acidity to balance the creaminess. It doesn't actually make the sauce spicy.
How to make it:
See full ingredient amounts and instructions in the recipe card below!
- Add all ingredients to a bowl.
- Whisk until smooth.
How to serve it:
Serve the sauce cold with cream sauce or marinara sauce calzones.
How to store it:
Store the sauce in an airtight container in the fridge until you're ready to serve it.
