I added adobo sauce (from a can of chipotle peppers) to give this dipping sauce not only a spicy but also a smoky flavor component. The sweet, smoky and tangy flavors work great together and make this sauce delicious and complex.

Sweet and Spicy Apricot Dipping Sauce
This easy apricot dipping sauce has the perfect balance of sweet, sour and spicy flavors. It’s delicious with chicken nuggets and coconut shrimp.

Ingredients:
- ¼ cup apricot preserves
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- 2 teaspoons adobo sauce (from a can of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce)
- ¼ teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
Instructions:
- Add all ingredients to a bowl.

- Whisk together until well combined.

Notes:
Storage: Store the sauce in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Let it warm up to room temperature before serving.
