This sweet and spicy apricot dipping sauce is sweet, sour, fruity and spicy. You need apricot preserves, adobo sauce, rice vinegar, soy sauce and onion powder to make it.

Recipe ingredients and notes:

Use adobo sauce from a can of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce.

How to make it:

How to use it:

This dipping sauce is great with chicken nuggets, coconut shrimp, cream cheese wontons, bacon-wrapped shrimp with cream cheese and more.

Ingredients:
  

  • ¼ cup apricot preserves
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons adobo sauce (from a can of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce)
  • ¼ teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

Equipment:

  • measuring cups and spoons
  • mixing bowl
  • whisk

  1. Add all ingredients to a bowl and whisk together until well combined.

Recipe notes:

Storage: Store the sauce in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Let it warm up to room temperature before serving.
