This curried peach and mustard dipping sauce is sweet, tart and full of delicious spice flavors. It goes great with anything from shrimp to wontons to chicken nuggets.
My ingredient notes:
I got the idea for the combination of fruit preserves and whole grain mustard from this turkey recipe from America's Test Kitchen that I came across the other day. I found it worked incredibly well because the little pop of tartness you get every time you bite into one of the mustard seeds punctuates the sweetness and creates a great balance of flavors. ATK uses orange preserves, lime and cayenne pepper in their sauce and I decided on peach, rice vinegar and curry powder. The combination of flavors is delicious and works with lots of finger foods.
