Brown Sugar Salmon Rub
This easy brown sugar salmon rub makes salmon fillets taste spectacular.
Makes about
1 ½ tablespoons

2 salmon fillets
(with each fillet weighing 3 to 4 ounces).

Ingredients:

ground black pepper

garlic powder

brown sugar*

Instructions:
Add all dry rub ingredients to a small jar. Put on the lid and shake very well until all ingredients are well combined.
If you're not using the rub right away, store it in an airtight container in a cool, dark place. It will keep for at least 6 months.
Notes:
*You can use either light or dark brown sugar. (Dark brown sugar contains more molasses and will yield a slightly deeper flavor in this rub.)
