Cod Spice Rub

This cod spice rub has a delicious balance of herb and spice flavors from dill, coriander, onion and garlic powder, and a little bit of smoked hot paprika. It’s a great seasoning for cod and other white fish.

What’s in the spice rub?

You need dill weed, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked hot paprika, salt and ground coriander to make the spice rub.

How to make it:

Step 1. Add all ingredients to a bowl.

How to store the spice rub:

Store the spice rub in an airtight container (such as a glass jar) in a cool, dark place, such as the kitchen pantry.

How to use it:

To use the spice rub, start by patting cod fillets dry using paper towels. Sprinkle the fish fillets evenly with the spice rub. Grill, broil or fry.

  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • ½ teaspoon smoked hot paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions:
 

  • Add all ingredients to a bowl and stir until well combined.
